HOn3 6 Pack D&RGW Passenger Car Trucks 5'0"WB KIT5002A6pk (6 pair of trucks in 1 Package).

This is the D&RGW Standard Narrow Gauge PASSENGER CAR TRUCK in use FROM 1881 TO 1981 and on restored or operational cars on tourist railroads today. 6 pair pr package. This is an injection molded styrene plastic kit for these trucks. Manufactured by the Model Railroad General Store, PT # 5002A6pk.  Priced at $ 61.55 this is a savings of $1.29 under retail per pair of trucks. The kit is designed to use the plastic wheel/axle sets supplied or, purchaser (you)  supplies, Grandt wheel/axle sets with blunt ends (not included), or pointed axle wheel sets, like NWSL, Kadee, Micro Scale, PSC etc., that may be used with slight modification, see instructions. 5 foot 0 inch wheel base, 3 foot gauge, composite metal and wood, with outside brake beams. Various wheels sizes from 26 to 30 inches in diameter. Standard until 1920 was either 28 or 30 inch wheels, after 1920 all operating cars received 26 inch wheels. This kit has 26 inch diameter wheels.

A cross car bolster with out board bearings, as applied to Passengers Cars after 1920, is supplied as an additional part. We are often asked "where are the bolsters on the cars?". The answer is they are flush with the bottom sheathing and not exposed. For earlier cars, without the out board bearings, substitute one or more fiber washers to get correct coupler height. See photos for parts and completed truck. Gray painted ones are for detail, correct color is Pullman Green to match car sides, or Silver for post '50's D&RGW and post '81 D&SNG. Sold as a pair with plastic wheels and axles. Easy assembly.

Domestic shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail, small flat rate box ($11.00).

International Shipping will also be via USPS Priority Mail, Small Flat Rate Box; HOWEVER, cost will be determined by destination. If you are not billed an appropriate amount or you wish a shipping quote, please inquire. Priority Mail includes tracking for your benefit.  At this point we have not been able to establish tracking for First Class Packages, when we can we will alter our shipping methods.
